Year of Saint Paul
June 29, 2008 begins the 2000th anniversary of the birth of Saint Paul the Apostle. Over the next year, Catholics are invited to turn their attention to the legacy of St. Paul. We celebrate and learn more about his life, contributions and teachings. We invoke his prayers that we may become like St. Paul who wrote:
"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." (Galatians 2:20-21)
