Bronx
The Bronx Catechetical Office serves as:
- A link between local parish catechetical programs and the Archdiocesan Catechetical office.
- A resource center for all catechetical leaders in the Bronx. These resources include:
- Audiovisual Library, materials and teaching tools are available for Catechists and Catholic School teachers.
- Catechist Formation classes that are offered in all four vicariates and in different languages to help catechists complete their certification requirements.
- Supplies that are available for sale to help with the administration and management of the parish catechetical office.
- Regional meetings that are held monthly (3rd Thursday of each month: 10am - 12pm) for parish catechetical leaders. Guest speakers and religion publishing company representatives are present at each meeting to update us on the latest in catechetics
In the mission of Catechesis, we strive to serve the students and their families while all along learning from the gifts and blessings they bring in our parish programs.
