What is a typical "school year" for a religious education program?
A religious education program may be offered anytime from September until June. There are 30 sessions of 90 minutes each. An opportunity for family catechesis is offered twice a year (each is approximately 2½ hours in length). Many parishes may also offer summer Bible sessions for the faith formation enrichment of the children.
